Meet Lexi! Lexi is a petite, female Boxer mix who loves to bounce after her toys, run around the yard, chew her bone, or play with her Kong. She wiggles her whole body when she's excited and her tail goes in a full circle. When she's not playing, she loves snuggling and belly rubs. Her permanent puppy face and wrinkles only make her more adorable! %BD'%BD%BD Lexi is approximately 2 years old, weighs 45lbs, and is spayed. You can learn more about Lexi on her Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/adoptboxerlexi She does well on walks and will need someone to keep up with training and provide structure. She enjoys car rides and prefers being free in the house over being in a crate. Although she loves walks, her favorite thing is to just spend time at home with her family. She is incredibly affectionate and gentle with her people, but it takes her a little longer to warm up to strangers. Lexi will need someone who respects this and allows her space when around people and other dogs. She would also do best in a home with older children or no children. She is good with cats. Rescue Me ID: 15-06-08-00449Molly (female)

German Shepherd    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Hi! I'm MOLLY! I am a 6-year-old spayed female German Shepherd. I found myself in the shelter after losing my home. I was so very sick and the shelter was too stressful a place for me to recover. Lucky for me a volunteer at the shelter took me home to foster me during my recovery. Fast forward 6 months......I'm SO much healthier now and now I'm ready to find my forever family! Is it you? My favorite things to do are nap, play ball, take walks, but napping is really my favorite. When I'm not napping, I like to carry my ball around with me at all times, just in case someone is ready to throw it (you never know!). I'm super smart and know a ... (Read More)lot of commands like sit, down, stay, leave it, come, crate, take it nice (for treats) and I even know ROLL OVER. I am extremely food motivated and will do anything for a treat. I'm a mature lady, so I don't need too much exercise. A round of fetch and maybe a walk and I am happy to nap away the rest of the day - maybe under your desk while you work? I'm housebroken and crate trained. I can spend up to 4 hours in the crate with no problems if you have to be away. I LOVE people of all ages but I don't want to share my family with other pets. I am used to my foster brothers and sisters, but animals I don't know scare me to death! I should be the only pet unless you can take the time to introduce me slowly to your other pet. Also no dog parks for me - too scary! Do you think you have a place for me in your family? If you would like to be considered as a possible adopter for her please contact us. She comes vaccinated with DA2PP, Bordetella, and a Rabies shot. She also comes spayed, dewormed, flea protected for one month, micro chipped that comes with microchip registration, leash and collar, some starter food, 20 per cent coupon at Pet Food Express, and training fliers and her first training is on us with one of our dog trainers. Her adoption/donation fee is $300.00 which will have prepared her for adoption and to help other rescued dogs with dire medical needs. ***Breed is solely up to the shelter and GEPDA vet.*** Learn more about us at our (501c3) website at www.gepdaus.org.
